Deník24 - Porcelain Skulls

Roman Kříž, an artist from Cheb, has gained recognition for his original creations of porcelain skulls that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design. His workshop, Porcelain Skulls, was founded in 1991 as a family business focused on producing functional porcelain and promotional items for spa towns.
Today, Kříž specializes in unique ceramic sculptures that are hand-molded, cast, and decorated with precious metals such as platinum, gold, and copper. Each skull is one-of-a-kind, often inspired by mysticism, symbolism, and pop culture. Some of his most famous works include the "Cold Death Skull," adorned with a secret combination of precious metals and platinum, and the "Golden Horn," which merges traditional motifs with modern design elements.
Roman Kříž also participates in exhibitions such as Maker Faire 2023 in Karlovy Vary, where he showcases his unique pieces.
